BobT-47P15 Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I believe there are several people/businesses around the country who restore or re-do these radios. Bob's Radio in Calif is one that's been mentioned. Try looking in Hemmings Motor News.....they have all sortsa ads.....ought to be someone listed there. Might just be able to see ads on their website. Try this link. http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/ Quote
Young Ed Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I had a jack added to my radio by a guy in our car club who fixes up radios. However unless you have additional conversion done you still only have mono sound. Quote
aero3113 Posted May 14, 2008 Author Report Posted May 14, 2008 What type of conversion would I need to do? Quote

Young Ed Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 There are radio places that will convert it to stereo sound. Sorry can't say what all is envolved in that process. My radio now has an audio cord input that leads to a box that the guy made. The box takes a standard headphone type stereo input and converts it to mono which is sent out the other side to the audio cord and into the radio. Quote
