teardrop puller Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 Help guys I realy need some help on plug wires for my Stovebolt dist. What set can I buy that I can adapt to the Stovebolt dist and the normal plugs? When I called them, Tom says "I probably need to use a set of Chevy V8's that have elbows on both ends". Well I bought a set and they are so long that they will be unusable once I try and do more than run the engine in the garage. Thanks guys kai Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 You can do as he suggests, just slip the boot on the plug end, remove the elbows by unrolling the crimp, route through the metal tube..cut to correct length per cylinder plus a bit to strip off and fold under the metal elbow you will reattach.... teardrop puller Posted December 8, 2006 Author Report Posted December 8, 2006 Tim You are right. I just looked at the wires and that is all I should have to do. Thanks. Just got the new electric fuel pump in ( the old one was a fuel injection pump that put out 95 PSI)and the regulator looks like it is going to keep the pressure down to about 5 lbs. Got a little leak in the bowls, but I think with adjustment all should be OK kai Quote
