Guest Roadrunner Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 I'm trying to figure out how to post some pics on here. I need to "resize" them I'm told as they are too big. I'm running windows xp. I was told to right click on the image and click on resize. that option is not available when I right click on the picture. Any help. I'm a better wrench than a nerd! Young Ed Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Search microsoft for powertools. That right click to resize is a powertool option. I have it on my pc and its great. Ed Quote
Normspeed Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 The right click thing is handy. Another way, there's a freeware or shareware program called PaintBuster. You can open the picture, then choose image, resize, and it will let you choose the new size in pixels while maintaining the same overall ratio of height to width (aspect ratio). Quote
D25_Steve Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 You can also right click on the image, and go to edit. That will take you into MS paint. Then go to image -> stretch/skew and shrink it by whatever percent (same one for horizontal and vertical). I do all my imaging in ms paint - cropping, "photoshoppping", etc. The only thing I can't seem to do in it is greyscale. Quote
