BobT-47P15 Posted February 24, 2008 Report Posted February 24, 2008 Just in case you haven't discovered this, there are a lot of music videos on You Tube....both old and new stuff. I've been having fun watching oldies such as Little Richard, Eddie Cochran, Roy Orbison, Elvis, the Harmonicats and many others. Just seems as if old music goes with the vintage cars. (may not work as well on dial up as on dsl) You can use the space provided there to put in either the name of an artist or a song title. The song may come up done by the original person or some band somewhere doing a cover. Some of those are good.....some not so hot. Hope nobody minds this little digression too much..... Here's a link to Little Richard doing Tutti Frutti...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlkMc0ZaJmY&feature=related Quote
Niel Hoback Posted February 24, 2008 Report Posted February 24, 2008 Don't forget Homer and Jethro. If you don't know who they are, you need to know. Quote

47heaven Posted February 24, 2008 Report Posted February 24, 2008 Don't forget Homer and Jethro. If you don't know who they are, you need to know. I've heard of them. They did a parody to Johnny Horton's "Battle Of New Orleans" called "Battle Of Kookamonga" in 1959. I heard it, but was never really too fond of it. Johnny Horton's song was way much better: http://youtube.com/watch?v=_4Q47i4zGBs Quote

Niel Hoback Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 I never saw a guy play a fiddle left handed before. That was really wierd looking. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted February 25, 2008 Author Report Posted February 25, 2008 The guy I play music with is left handed. Initially he learned on a right handed guitar turned upside down. Now he has a left handed guitar, but the strings are still upside down.......biggest one on the bottom, smallest on the top. Works fine for him. Quote
