kevinanderson Posted February 18, 2008 Author Report Posted February 18, 2008 so this would be considered a long block? Quote
Rodger S-11 Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 Hola Kevin The short blocks are the 23 inch 218 and 230 cubed engines. The long blocks are the 25 inch 228, 236, 251 and 265's in cube's. Just measure the lenght of the head to know long or short. There is an machined boss near the generator which will show the maker of the block and the size. Due to several dozen good reasons, the original engine may have been pulled and the replacement could have been an _______ from 19____ . Rodger & Gabby COS Quote
