Tom Skinner Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 I am getting ready to do a clutch job, and have to remove the Transmission. I have a Fluid Drive and the Manual states remove the Govenor and Selenoid, how do the come off/out do you just un-screw them at the base? Tom Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 You do not need to take off the solenoid or the govenor off on the 1946-8 "Fluid Drive" M-5 transmissions, even on the convertibles. They are just really heavy! Bob Quote
