hotrodbob Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Who do you recomend for carpet and a headliner. Did mine 20+ years ago, bought from a company in Long Beach Cal. named ACME.. Time to redo the interior, but can't find ACME. I know about Kanter, but I want to see what I'm buying before I buy. Quote
oldmopar Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 About 2 years ago a friend purchased carpet for his 49 Dodge from JCW he was satisfied with the purchase. You could check with them also most vendors will send you samples if you ask Quote

I bought my custom made headliner from them and it was a perfect fit at a reasonable price, too. There are also a lot of nice photos so you can see what you are getting. http://www.rodinteriors.com/ Quote

( i believe its white seats with purple piping) Allan Quote

They do have that, in my crushed velvet stuff, but that's more like a last resort. I was real happy with the headliner's quality and how well it fit. Quote
Allan Faust Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 But I'm not looking to go for "original".... I just want to have a nice interior... so I'm not really worried.... Allan Quote

bob_amos Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 My shop is set up to order from ACME in Long Beach. Great products. But, J.C.Whitney does have some real good products. They are just a "go between" for one of the big companies. I've ordered from both Acme and Whitney and have been happy with either. I can get you the Acme number if you are interested. Quote
