Just picked up a '47 Dodge D25, lil unfamiliar with these cars.

Noticed the front wheels offset about 30* from vertical, in other words, they tip at an alarming rate when turning.

Assume this is not normal? Or is it? Handles well, wondering if I have a larger problem.

Yes, that is normal.  In fact it is a measurable quantity used to calculate caster during an alignment.
