Wiring questions

Evening everyone,  I am working on repairing the wiring in my 51 cranbrook. And I have e a few questions. First how in the world do I remove the headlight and dash light dimmer switch? I cannot for the life of me figure out how the knows come off. Second, on the back of the headlight switch,  are those just bullet connectors on the ends of the wires? Or are they a specific terminal type? I'm sure I'll have more questions but these are my main 2.

Knobs are held on with set screws. Yes standard bullet connectors

Thank you, much appreciated. My dimmer switch for the dash doesn't work very well, can it be opened and the contacts cleaned or should I seek a replacement?

3/32 hex

I would try an electrical contact cleaner spray, before I would take the switch apart

Ive taken many switches apart. They are crimped together so be prepared to carefully pry back the folded parts. Then expect it to be spring loaded. Contacts will probably fall out also. Fun stuff. Fluid film works good to lube them up.

Thanks guys, my wife put me into a mad thrash session to try and get the car to the ruckus next Saturday.  Gonna be tight and a few long nights this week but I think we can get there. Wish me luck. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions.
