joecoozie
There are 2 types of lockout assemblies on the carbs There's a 2 wire and a 1 wire Can anyone tell me what are the difference(s),if any, between the two and what carbs they can be used on Can a carb with a 2 wire assembly use a 1 wire assembly and vice versa? I have enclosed pictures of both assemblies Edited May 26 by joecoozie
DonaldSmith
What do you mean "lock-out"? Is this for an overdrive, or for a semi-automatic transmission? I looked at the wiring diagrams for the M-5 and M-6 semi-automatic transmissions. Each diagram shows two devices at the carburetor, an anti-stall control at the top of the carb, and a kick-down switch near the base. The M-5 has one wire to each device; the M-6 has two. I would guess that the same carb would work for either transmission.
