D34DODGE Posted June 20, 2023 Report Posted June 20, 2023 Hope someone could help me find the correct wheel studs for my 1950 Dodge Coronet club coupe D-34. Everything is original on the car which has 11" brake drums. I need some left wheel studs, but I can't even find correct right side ones either. Book states Mopar part number 687902 left and 687901 right. I ordered some left ones from each of the two largest Mopar suppliers in the northeast, but neither fit. Need some studs that about .630" on the shoulder, about 1.5" long. 1/2-20. See photos. Anyone know where I can get about 10 left or ten right??? Or any other helpful info? Thanks, Scott Quote
D34DODGE Posted June 20, 2023 Author Report Posted June 20, 2023 Also, if the hole is about .630", how many more 1/1000" can the stud be larger, and still expect to be pressed on without damage?? Scott Quote
D34DODGE Posted June 20, 2023 Author Report Posted June 20, 2023 Also I saw on this forum that someone had a car like mine and they were able to press in Dorman 610-036 studs, which are .645" knurl/shoulder diameter. Can a .645" stud be pressed into a .630" hole without damage? Scott Quote
