What year is this Australian Pilothouse ?

My best guess is 48-50, but more importantly, what is it?  Is it a Ute thing or a custom?

This is an Australian Dodge Pilothouse which i believe was sent out here in pieces and constructed here.

From limited info i have it was an old Australian Post Vehicle. Is is a ute !

Any chance you can post up a photo of the VIN tag showing the serial number?… that will help with identifying the build date.
