Mr Navarro was a well known hot rodder at the time and a manufacturer of speed equipment. His equipment is now being reproduced by H & H Flatheads. One of his projects was a "Stock Block" AMC 6 cylinder which qualified for the Indy 500! I asked him about it and he replied, "That engine was highly dependent on turbocharging."
