Devendra Posted November 17, 2022 Report Posted November 17, 2022 Hi, members help needed on the '47 D24 sedan , what's the original color on the inner cabin( bare metal) body shell, inner side of the door , floorpan , underside ? Will the inner side of the fenders , boot lid and bonnet be same color as the exterior ? Please advise. Dev Quote
Conn47D24 Posted November 17, 2022 Report Posted November 17, 2022 Mine had original green around inside of windshield, doors etc. Looked like overspray though. Inside trunk and floors mostly a greyish. Quote
MarcDeSoto Posted November 17, 2022 Report Posted November 17, 2022 The dashboard and window moldings are a dark brown woodgrain, except on convertibles which are body color. The color of the floor doesn't matter, since it will be covered with carpet or rubber mats. The upsholstery is a beige striped wool broadcloth. Quote

Inside the hood, door sills and trunk were all body color except where the horrid undercoating was gooped on, I'm not kidding 1/4" thick in many places. I bet the car is 100lbs lighter without that stuff. Quote
