Skrambler Posted September 15, 2022 Report Posted September 15, 2022 Has anyone attempted to fit a 46-48 Plymouth dashboard into a 1941 Plymouth P-12? Is there a drastic size difference? Obviously, the gauges and such will be different, I simply am asking if the "bones" are the same, or even close. Thank you! Quote
andyd Posted September 17, 2022 Report Posted September 17, 2022 I have seen pics of 42-48 Plymouth dashboards in 1941 cars........I had a 1941 RHD Coupe and it had a stock standard RHD 1941 Plymouth dash, I also have an Oz 1940 Dodge sedan.......both had the same size dash board, ie, width etc..I could have swapped the complete dashboards over..........I obtained a Fulton sun visor that was on a 1948 Plymouth from the USA and it fitted without any width changes onto the 1941 Plymouth Coupe...the basic body shells 1940-48 are essentailly the same.........so I would be prepared on what I have seen in person and in pics to say that the dashboards from 1940 to 1948 Plymouths are essentially the same width and will basically swap although there maybe some slight difference in bolt size or location, etc...........instruments,switches etc is a different thing tho'.......andyd Quote
