Remopte Start Button

I bought a remote start button a few years ago and a mechanic friend of mine helped to turn the engine over. He hooked up the remote button, as I have no help now, I see that the black battery lead went to the large terminal on the starter and the red to the generator.

I can't see the red battery cable because it's under the generator.  I'm assuming that I can just connect the battery cables to the battery and away I go.

I have one for turning over the motor while tuning and I just hook it up to the solenoid where the negative lead comes from the battery and the other lead to the first small terminal next to it.  Works fine for me.
