Hi

I'm busy restoring a 1949 Plymouth super de luxe, unfortunately there are a few pieces on the clutch linkage mechanism. So wondering if anyone can provide a diagram so I can re manufacture the

A) bracket which bolts to the bellhousing that takes the  spring from the clutch arm

Pt No 6-27-6

B) the spring plate that also bolts to the side of the bellhousing / gearbox Pt No 6-52-5

Also, is there a source in the UK for the over centre spring Pt No 6-35-1

Thanks

The bracket could be made easily, I think.  I guess the spring could too.  but I had the same problem with some missing parts to the brake linkage, so I found a guy with a parts car similar to mine and he was nice enough to part them out to me.  If you can't find a parts car,  I am assembling a 48 DeSoto so I could make a crude template from parts that are already installed on my car.  You will probably have to find a parts car to get the overcenter spring.

Thanks, unfortunately donor 49 plymouths are a bit of a rarity in the UK, I was hoping someone could trace the bracket with a few dimensions added.but a template would be great, if it's no problem

Someone in the U.S. probably would sell you those parts, but I don't know how you would make the over center spring.  I'll do what I can for the other two parts.

Thanks, making the brackets won't be a problem, once I have a template, as for the over centre spring, it is available to purchase, but the postage is as much as the part, but might have to bite the bullet to solve ghe problem
