Old Truck Nut Posted June 5, 2022 Report Posted June 5, 2022 Hello guys and gals. New guy here with questions. Recently acquired a 1935 (second series) Model KC pickup. After some poking around I find it does not have the original engine. Here’s what I know: 23-1/8” long block block serial number 112 - 18830. (The - is actually a #1 stamped on its side). No T-12 prefix. block casting 860229-15 casting date (I presume) 37 7 below that 11 22 stroke 4.400” head casting. 870066-2 Can someone out there tell me what I have? Thank you. Any help appreciated. old truck nut Quote
sidevalvepete Posted June 6, 2022 Report Posted June 6, 2022 Some pics of the numbers you have quoted would be helpful. Especially the block number. Stamped on the boss at top of block above where generator is mounted. Your "serial number" is foreign to me... Quote
Merle Coggins Posted June 6, 2022 Report Posted June 6, 2022 I suspect the "112" should be "T12" if the "T" stamp wasn't held straight and the top didn't stamp correctly. 1 Quote
