I am in need of more help please. I am working on my 1950 Dodge Coronet. I am putting things back together, cleaned and painted. The thermostat is a NAPA P/N 155 is a three-piece unit by (Balkamp).

The bell-shaped part is .080 bigger the then thermostat housing. Meaning this cannot be correct. I cannot find any information in the shop manual about this either.

I did have to use a rubber mallet to remove the old one.

What brands have some of you used?
