Frank Gooz Posted March 7, 2022 Report Posted March 7, 2022 I am in need of more help please. I am working on my 1950 Dodge Coronet. I am putting things back together, cleaned and painted. The thermostat is a NAPA P/N 155 is a three-piece unit by (Balkamp). The bell-shaped part is .080 bigger the then thermostat housing. Meaning this cannot be correct. I cannot find any information in the shop manual about this either. I did have to use a rubber mallet to remove the old one. What brands have some of you used? Frank Quote
FarmerJon Posted March 7, 2022 Report Posted March 7, 2022 Just went through this. I tried ones from 4 parts chains... Ended up with a Napa 155, from 1990, fit perfectly. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Napa-155-Thermostat-180-F-82-C-NEW-Surplus-/153967260312?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 Quote
