Push Notifications WHY?

I get the request to enable these every day, every time I look at my notifications.  Always OK, and get the response that my browser will soon respond.  Never happens.  ??

 

Almost forgot: Firefox 95.0.2

 I keep getting this request, but still never get the expected browser notice.  what am I doing wrong?
