Shock gaiters as drive shaft boots

Was watching a bunch of coldwarmotors on YouTube.  Was working on a Frazier which had the same ball and trunion joints as are common to our cars.  Instead of ordering up new boots he grabbed some dirt bike shock absorber gators.  Got them with inside diameters as close to the tube diameter, trimed to length fastened with strap clamp binders. Done and done. Size may vary according to applications
