Vent window latch repair

My vent window latch is not present on my 50 Suburban. I don’t see any way to repair or replace. Am I required to replace the vent glass frame?

Should be a stud sticking out along the lower

part of the frame. The latch would fit over this 

& be held on by a tiny drift pin if my memory

serves me.

PlymJim is correct. Absent the Stud, you probably need to replace the frame. With the stud a handle and kits show up on ebay to repair it.

I usually hunt around 1948 Chrysler on ebay and see the Kits and handles with some steady frequency.
