Mario Loya B1B
Seat belts are now installed, which means my 2 boys (ages 4 and 5) can come along on short, safe drives (e.g. Home Depot, Dairy Queen, dump runs)
grey beard
Mario, Beautiful interior. Beautiful truck! Are your seats custom upholstery work? Did you do your own body work and paint? Whoever did it certainly is good. JMHO. Thanks for sharing your pics.
Mario Loya B1B
Dave, unfortunately I am much better at displaying other peoples work, than doing it myself. I have done somethings that I thought were within my capability (wood rails, radio, wipers, arm rests). I agree with you. The guy who restored my truck did a fine job, which is why I'm somewhat reluctant to do things my self. I don't want to screw it up.

Guest Dave Claussen
And you've got a couple of good looking co-pilots to ride shotgun too! Kids just make it even more fun,Huh?
Dennis_MN
The belts are from www.julianos.com I will post photos of the installed belts and how they are mounted under the seat I installed the same belts by attaching them to the back of the seat frame. I put in three sets so that my five year old granddaughter can ride along in her adapter seat. She just loves to ride in the old truck because she gets to ride in front and she can see everything. Bouncy B
I know what you mean about the kids riding up front. My little ones were very excited to find out that a 1949 Dodge doesn't come with AIRBAGS!!!!! I think there was a previous post detailing seat belt installation. Maybe someone else will remember it.
