Ajgkirkwood Posted June 13, 2019 Report Posted June 13, 2019 I'm not sure but you will need a 146 tooth flywheel aswell the pressure plate Quote
plymouthcranbrook Posted June 13, 2019 Report Posted June 13, 2019 Is there a particular reason you need a bigger clutch? Lots of hills, more powerful motor? Just wondering as the difference seems to be small. 1 Quote
Dartgame Posted June 13, 2019 Report Posted June 13, 2019 (edited) It was simple on my 52 ply...The flywheel is drilled for both 9 1/4 and 10 inch clutches. I installed a 10 inch borg and beck on my car. It had a very worn out auburn 9 1/4. Edited June 13, 2019 by Dartgame 1 Quote
dr47 Posted June 13, 2019 Author Report Posted June 13, 2019 hey there Dartgame , do yo remember the part number for the clutch kit you used ,thanks Quote
MarkAubuchon Posted June 14, 2019 Report Posted June 14, 2019 I too upgrade my 47 to the 10 inch. flywheel was already drilled out. no reason other than I could Quote
Dartgame Posted June 14, 2019 Report Posted June 14, 2019 DR - sorry no kit number. You need a borg and beck 10 inch clutch and matching disc for an early 50's chrysler product, that's all I can tell you.... Quote
