Anyone Running Langdons Holley Carb?

Jack;

I have a pair with plans to install them in the future. I would think a single application should work well. With the progressive linkage fuel economy should improve until you put your foot into it.

You've got to be a little careful when talking about carbs and Langdon's because there are two different ones! There are Holley-Webers and there are Carter-Webers. Both are actually great carbs, and you will find people on this forum that have used one or the other with equal success. The pictures that Don posted are actually Carter-Webers (just like the ones that I bought from Langdon).

There are slight differences in the overall size, a little difference in linkages, and a different base for the air cleaner. Make sure you know which one you're talking about!

Hi!

I'm runnig a stock 218 flathead with that carb,and i also have the mini hey distributor from Landon.I must say the car works jus t fine and it's using less fuel aswell.Last year whit a small camper behind it used 1.5 l per 10 km,this year with the new disrtibutor and new carb it used 1,3l per 10 km.This yer Ihad a bigger camingtrailer behind it.Whitout the trailer behind it used 1,01 per 10 km.So I'll say way to go,it's worth the money.
