YukonJack Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Just curious if anyone is running Langdons Holley/Webber 2bbl carb with adapter on a stock flathead and if you are happy with the set-up? Quote
Don Coatney Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Jack; I have a pair with plans to install them in the future. I would think a single application should work well. With the progressive linkage fuel economy should improve until you put your foot into it. Quote
mikk506WA Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 can you use the electric choke with 6 volt ? or do you need converter Quote
Olddaddy Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 I've got one I will use, but I'm a ways off from being up and running. I'd be curuous to know what others have found using this carb myself. Quote
martybose Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 You've got to be a little careful when talking about carbs and Langdon's because there are two different ones! There are Holley-Webers and there are Carter-Webers. Both are actually great carbs, and you will find people on this forum that have used one or the other with equal success. The pictures that Don posted are actually Carter-Webers (just like the ones that I bought from Langdon). There are slight differences in the overall size, a little difference in linkages, and a different base for the air cleaner. Make sure you know which one you're talking about! Marty Quote
