Nice 1953 Plymouth in October Street Rodder

Per all of our discussion of late regarding original vs modified vs SBC vs whatever, there is a very nice 1953 Plymouth coupe with a 360 Mopar and Torqueflite in the October 2007 Street Rodder magazine. Very nicely done for a modified car in bright red. I like it. Looks like Mopar thru and thru....except for the wheels.

I believe it be that one. Ford rearend, Chevy column....most of the rest is Mopar. Nice look for a car that is often over-looked.

It's a nice job, and even better, he drives it. I took that pic in June at Johnny Carson Park in Burbank. Road Kings Picnic, a nice event. He told me that he had been over taking photos of my car earlier.

This nice little two door is around the area somewhere towards Springfield. Saw it at the Ash Grove, MO show last year. Don't know what engine is in it.....but a good looking car.

Yummmmmmmmm, I like catfish. And you are right Tim.....kinda does look like a catfish....but no whiskers and no caudal peduncle to boot.

I had catfish when I was in Arkansas. Went to a place that specialised in it. Pretty good. I was told that most places that do it, it tastes muddy, but this place was good.

catfish here in the south is a staple..right up there with grits...I rarely eat fish except for what is cooked at the house with the exception being Captain D's...love that North Atlantic ice fish...(cod) I only eat fried fish when camping..about the only time I will take the time to pick out bones...
