I have one, need another, Pedal Return Spring (see photo). ('53 1/2T Fluid Drive)  Somehow I lost one over my extended rebuild era!

Anyone ever able to purchase one somewhere?  Online spring companies so far are not bringing results. I suppose a junk yard, but that's unlikely around here.

You must have a very strong foot...lol. Mine are nowhere near that thick, but I just found a set at Napa, one bigger one, and one that fits inside of it as a back up incase the main one fails

I will agree with 4mula... head down to Napa or the hardware store and match it up. It might take a bit of trial and error to get the right tension, but springs are fairly inexpensive.

I picked up a couple at Ace Hardware that worked for me from the not and bolt section. The have a few drawers dedicated to springs.
