Headlight switch

I inherited a 1948 special deluxe and Iam through the process of rewiring the whole car. The original headlight switch is what I am going to use and somebody before me tried to rewire the car so the wires have been spliced and changed. On the headlight switch their are numbers on each terminal and the shop manuel doesn't show the diagram for the switch. Does any one know what 58B, 58S, 30, 58L, 58R, 56, 15, 58K mean?

check your European wiring charts....me thinks your switch is not stock......these numbers have been the same forever...I first learned of these when wiring my 1925 Fiat GT  Open file below and scroll to numerical listing of assigned numbers for individual circuits.
