tmac Posted March 29, 2018 Report Posted March 29, 2018 I am in the process of stripping down a 1959 W100 cab for sandblasting and the only thing left to remove is the headlight switch. The knob is permanently mounted I see the replacement switches come without the knob so you must be able to remove the knob somehow. The mounting nut comes off but the knob needs to be removed. any suggestions greatly appreciated. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 29, 2018 Report Posted March 29, 2018 reach under the dash, see if you can feel a small button about 1/4 inch tall with a spring on it...depress this button as you pull the switch out....the handle and shaft should pull right out...tip off, is the shaft triangular ..
