Front crank gear oil tube

Just a quick question...is there just a small slit or tiny hole in that small tube behind the timing chain that feeds oil to the crankshaft gear? I noticed my timing cover and chain seemed pretty dry when I took the cover off..it had sat for awhile before I got to working on it, but still expected more oil in that area..wondering if my tube might be plugged a bit, but I can't tell where the oil comes out...gears look in very good shape, so doesn't look like it's ever been starved

There's a tiny hole in the end of the tube.

Ok, I’ll try and clean it outa bit...wonder if air would hurt?

The tube can be removed by taking out the bolt that holds the clamp around the tube. Once removed spray some brake clean or what ever you have handy through the tube.
