Powerhouse Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 SO...anyone have preferences on 2 bbl carb for our flat engines? My old D6a2 is in need of a rebuild...I'd like to get a 2 bbbl to replace it. NEW or Original Rebuilts...whatever you can tell me I'm listening. Thanks. Quote
48mirage Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 I used a Holley 94 from a 56 Ford on my D30. I had to make an adaptor to mount to the 1 barrel manifold and located a slightly shorter rod from the bell crank to the carb. Works well. Along with the split exhaust manifold I gained significant power and increased mileage from 14 to 19 mpg. http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=2420&d=1180732703 Quote
greg g Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 Here is an adapter for 10 bucks, 2bbl carb to 1bbl manifold. There are also a bunch of carbs on their site. The source; http://www.wpsracing.com/cpprcaad.html Quote
Mr. Belvedere Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 Try looking at langdon's stovebolt, they have adapters and carbs. Quote
