Big Aubs Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 Good Morning Fellow Gearheads, I have a '53 Cambridge that I am getting a plan together for what work lies ahead. My body mounts minus the front couple on each side are no longer doing their intended job and the majority of the body is sitting hard on the frame. In looking at the mounts from below the car I can see what looks to be remanants of stiffners where each of the mounts bolt thru the floor. I have scoured thru the service manual and the motors manual to see what these look like to no avail. All I need is a picture so I can reproduce the proper structure for the floor and mounts. I want to get the old girl back on the road. Any help is greatly appreciated, I have searched high and low on the forums and found nothing. I do apologize if this has come up before and I simply did not see it. B.A. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 http://plydr.tgie-greyhounds.org/49.52.Chr.Ply.Dod.Catalog.pdf This is the link to the Plymouth Doctor online catalog....you can see them in one picture but I do not think it will afford a close up....Like you intend, I did repair mine, bit of a process unless you have access to some really good metal working tools....but very doable... Big Aubs Posted September 8, 2017 Author Report Posted September 8, 2017 Thanks plymouthy, if I had a picture of the two between the foot well and rear seat it would be amazing, but this info is better than what I had. There is enough body and fab work to do to on this old girl that I figure to start easy! Quote
