guess you could cut a gasket with it..but with the drill bit, I always called these adjustable hole cutters...

That was my point. I had to laugh when I found that hole cutter called a "Vintage Gasket Cutter". Just proves what we already knew about a lot of the sellers on ebay. They don't know what they're selling. I've been watching that one just to see if someone actually bid on it. With the shipping cost included you can buy one of those in any store that sells tools. If you read the description it says that the center part cuts washer holes for you.

right you are Norm..those things are cheap enough when new..both money and material but I must admit I bought a couple just for mass production of Sunbeam dashboards and they did the job without a hitch.
