p24-1953 Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 Will too little timing cause a hesitation or slight surge at higher speeds? It was set at 8 but I dialed it back to 4 at idle, but i don't feel like I have as much omph on the top end. Quote

Jerry Roberts Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 You might try setting your timing with a vacuum gauge . Try for the highest steady reading . And of course you can use the vacuum gauge to adjust the carb too . Quote
