JaysonK Posted June 3, 2017 Report Posted June 3, 2017 Okay I messed up and dug into a project and did not do enough pre planning....I am replacing the kingpins in my 1952 B3B and I do not have the shop manual. I have ordered it but it will take a week to get here anyone know of where I can get to the pages online? Quote
Dozerman51 Posted June 3, 2017 Report Posted June 3, 2017 The "Pilothouse Knowledge" site has a 1953 B-4 series Dodge shop manual you can download. Don't see why that manual would be all that different than what you are looking for. Quote

These are very snug looks like I am going to need to tap it in with a hammer? I thought they were suppose to slip right into place? I have checked and double checked with D!MC and I have the right set for the truck, I have never done this before so I have no reference. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted June 4, 2017 Report Posted June 4, 2017 New bushings need to be reamed to fit the pins. 1 Quote

JaysonK Posted June 6, 2017 Author Report Posted June 6, 2017 If I put this axle in correctly the shocks go toward the font correct? The axle bends toward the back of the truck? I would hate to think I put this whole thing in backwards Quote
