King Pin

I know there is already a post a King Pins but I thought I would as anyways. I have a 1956 Fargo 1Ton. I was wondering if these would fit my truck or if anyone would know this.

No one knows if these kingpins would fit my truck.

Well, I don't know either. According to Nostalgia Sid's web site:

My guess is that they would not fit in that the 1/2 ton is a light duty and the 1 1/2 ton is built stronger and, maybe, has sturdier stuff.  On the other hand, I might be wrong.   It has happened before.  Not often but it has happened.

Ya I wasn't sure either. My Dad got a safety done on this truck before I took it over and one thing that was on it was the kingpins.

For the amount of work, I think I would spend the extra $12 and move to the $50 ones that are on the 1956 list, BUT that still doesn't answer the question if it will fit.

You guys must be good at looking for stuff on Rock Auto because I was on there the other day and didn't see squat. But thank you for the link.

If you were to compare part numbers for the king pins for each truck, it would answer your questions.
