old rookie Posted May 1, 2017 Report Posted May 1, 2017 Hi everyone, I am in the process of rebuilding my '49 Plymouth's brake system, which includes upgrading to front discs. I definitely want to go with a two chamber Master Cylinder. Can anyone please tell me which two chamber master cylinder fits and works best for a 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe? Thanks! Quote
pflaming Posted May 1, 2017 Report Posted May 1, 2017 "Best" is a subjective term, works is better. Several work, I'm using a 97 Cherokee MC because I'm also using a 97 Cherokee rear axle, 3:73. Quote
old rookie Posted May 1, 2017 Author Report Posted May 1, 2017 I'll happily settle for 'works'! This is my first brake system rebuild, and I'm learning as I go. I've seen plenty of photos here with the MC conversion, but I haven't been able to find anything about the makes they came from. I will look into a 97 Cherokee MC, as well as any others that are suggested here. Thank you! Quote
old rookie Posted May 3, 2017 Author Report Posted May 3, 2017 Thanks Don! This is exactly what I was looking for. You've saved me a lot of headaches. Quote
