bergy Posted February 2, 2017 Report Posted February 2, 2017 Ok 1953 b3 .Inside the door there is a stiffener in the body of the door, that runs outside to inside skin.My question is-is this stiffener suppose to be fastened to the outside side-or just float against the outside skin with a gasket?Cleaning up the door inside I noticed the inside skin is tight to the stiffener and the part going to the outside seems to have some of gasket or is that just glue?Iwas thinking about panel bonding it to the door. Thanks in advance. That stiffener had a "felt strip" like material "stapled" to it and it floats. Edited February 3, 2017 by Brent B3B Punctuation Quote
