Devon Posted September 27, 2016 Report Posted September 27, 2016 New here, I have a 51 Cranbrook with a 218 with a broken exhaust and intake manifold. The exhaust manifold is in 2 pieces, intake manifold has mounting tab broken off. I can see if they can be welded but being the exhaust is broken in 2, I'm thinking it may be difficult to get it true again. any thoughts? i would like to keep it factory, ive been searching online for a pair but all i can find is performance setups. exhaust dumps between 5 & 6. Does anyone know of a vendor or place to get ahold of an oe pair of manifolds? thanks Quote

Andydodge Posted September 27, 2016 Report Posted September 27, 2016 Welcome to the forum..............there are at least 3 different Plymouth exhaust manifolds.......a front dump between # 2 & 3, a rear/centre dump between # 4 & 5 and a rear dump that dumps after # 6....... I used one of each of the first & second type to have a twin outlet system made to suit the engine I was building.........I had the cut off openings welded by a local blacksmith who knew how to weld cast iron.........anyway hope this helps........andyd Quote
