fudds54 Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Is the front fender stainless moulding the same on both the front fenders. I have found a piece the ad says for left or right mine is dented pretty bad just eyeballing it looks the same on both sides to me. Just want to make sure before I purchase. It is the strip that runs along the side of the fender. Quote
plymouthcranbrook Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) Fronts are generally interchangeable as are rears. Just not front and rear. Edited April 11, 2016 by plymouthcranbrook Quote
dpollo Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 my parts book for P25 -2 (Savoy) and 3 (Belvedere) shows pn 1541024 rhs and 1541025 lhs. fender side moulding this would suggest they are different and as I recall, they are. It took me years to find a rhs moulding before internet. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 Well......another way to look at it........if they are not too different ...... you could use a right on the left, upside down, as better than nothing until you actually find the exact part needed. Who knows how long that may take..........and is the car needing a lot of repair, or is it ready to use now? Remember, most members of the general public will probably never notice that you have an incorrect piece of trim.........just one of my observations from years of messing with some old cars. (I realize not everyone will agree with me.) 1 Quote
rb1949 Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 Since you're replacing, take it off and hold it up to the other side. The process may also reveal if you need new clips. 1 Quote
