Tom Bryant of Plydo was the gentleman I was referring to. My memory isnt as good as it should be.

He passed away at a young age and I am not sure that there is anything but respect that should be shown for the people who share our early MoPaR passion.

He was a great guy and easy to deal with, knowledgeable and a friend met through Mopar parts.

I never had a problem with any of the vendors mentioned. Others did....I understand that.

Funny how our experiences vary wildly based on the angle or direction that we approach the very same vendors.

I suspect you and Ed are a lot a like or I suspect you and he are buds. Despite you think I need a "spankin"...  I am not alone in my opinion nor did I "slam" anyone.

Quite frankly don't care if you agree with me or not.  I will pick my battles as I may and I expect anyone that takes my money to perform as if they at least appreciate it.

Actually the owner of AB does meet my expectations.  Also keep in mind... you may have been here from the beginning (did you get a badge for that or are you just beating your chest?) and you may subscribe to crotchety behavior, but it is that exact type of personality that also drives the younger folks away from this hobby which is small enough as is.... So you are right... about the empty room, but it may be because nobody wants to put up with that crap just to have an old Mopar.

Ed (if that is his name) doesn't know me.

Just not right to slam a guy by going to his boss and then pontificating on a forum where he doesn't have a voice.

Something about "shooting fish in a barrel"

I don't care how dry he is.  He seems to be putting my order in the box as we converse.    I'm amazed at how fast I get my order.    He helped me sort out my Dodge/ Plymouth clutch mystery.

Bedside manner be dammed, results matter.

have seen a few members take that very approach and it worked very well for them UNTIL their order was messed, the parts did not arrive..the charges were wrong and the part was incorrect and it was your fault for not being specific when ordering...OF COURSE PLEASE note....this was more in reference to the old school AB parts...the latest posts since new ownership reflect another AB's altogether..just bare in mind that all coins have two side and on occasion...will land on its very edge..

Toast likes toast I guess! Rude is rude and with me I have ZERO problem expressing my opinion to a vendor (experienced or not) in person or not

who is rude to me. Being knowledgeable on a subject doesn't mean you loose respect for others especially when in business and the customers pay you your time.

Some car folks seem to be stuck up sbobs but it was always the "show people" sad to see that "hands on" folks and "experienced" vendors lends a liscence to be a jackazz!

Hopefully the employee changes his attitude and welcomes clients with a pleasant attitude, I doubt it would interfer with his knowledge!  :D

Lifes to short and these damn cars are always breaking.................................... :) HA!
