Retread Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Just saying hi and a ? . Want to install Moog cc850 springs on our P10, how much will this drop the front end. Quote
Dave72dt Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 That will depend upon the condition of the springs you are taking out. Extremely worn or damaged springs may get you very little drop. 3/4 to 1 1/2 seems to be what's has been reported. With unequal length control arms, your camber may be affected so an alignment may be in order after the spring swap. Quote
Retread Posted September 1, 2015 Author Report Posted September 1, 2015 Thanks for the reply. Springs coming out were installed in 1939 so may be a little weak. Was hoping for 2 in. Will also do the f1 shock relocate at the same time. John Quote
40plyrod Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 Try this thread. http://p15-d24.com/topic/36360-aerostar-springs-my-review/?hl=cc850 Not a p10 but good info. Or this one Quote

deathbound Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 I've read some also drill out the rivets for the lower spring pocket and relocate to the underside of the A-arm with grade 8 bolts.....but forgot how much drop you get. Maybe someone who's done this will chime in with their experience. Quote
