Tim Keith Posted June 21, 2015 Report Posted June 21, 2015 This V6 might have been produced according to the AllPar site instead of small V8s. It looks like it might be a 60 degree design - it is relatively narrow. The Allpar site says it was to be a hemi. In retrospect having a new six instead of three similar hemi V8s might have been a good plan. I expect it was not so smooth running as I doubt that it had an even fire crankshaft. Otherwise, it looks to be a thoroughly modern design. The difference between the 331 and other hemis is the valve angle is oriented laterally - note that the spark plugs are not centered in the valve cover. http://www.allpar.com/mopar/V6/classic-v6.html Quote
Ulu Posted June 23, 2015 Report Posted June 23, 2015 (edited) Allpar doesn't let you "hot" link their photos, so we can't see them without visiting their site.. Hot linking is really stealing someone's bandwidth, so I don't recommend you do it as a rule. Edited June 23, 2015 by Ulu Quote
