Jerry Roberts Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 Here is a photo of my remote master cylinder fill reservoir . It is from a Volkswagon Beetle . I plugged the extra outlet . This remote fill reservoir has an additional advantage that isn't so obvious . When I want to change my brake fluid , I just open my bleeder valves , one at a time , and gravity does the work . No pressure is needed . 2 Quote
Jerry Roberts Posted June 16, 2015 Author Report Posted June 16, 2015 It goes to the cap of the master cylinder . A barbed fitting is screwed into a hole drilled and tapped in the cap . The cap in the master cylinder also has a very small vent hole in the side that must be plugged . The cap of the remote reservoir is vented . It must be vented because the fluid moves . Quote
