Door Latch

I got a 54 Plymouth Savoy 4 door the drivers door is stuck it wont release the rotator the lock works but the door wont open I have looked down the door between the window and cant figure how to get it to open. Any help would be nice.

have you tried to open it from within using a slight bit of foot pressure while someone holds the door latch in its open position ...these things dry out to no end and really will surprise you at the way they bind and will not latch allowing for play in the door
