I know I'm going to sound a bit of a dummy, but where are the fuses on a 1950 Dodge Wayfarer?

I have about 50% of my lights working and no indicators at all.

I think the bulbs are OK, so it's probably fuses or poor wiring.

There is one fuse. It is a longer than standard 30 amp located on the headlight switch through which all light circuits pass. So if stock, if you have some lights you should have all. If you are still 6 volt, a lot of the problem can usually be traced to poor grounds. However with the age of the car, individual circuit wires can be suspect also. If your high low beams don't work, some times cycling the switch a number our times will clean the internal contacts enough to restore operation. A simple circuit tester with a light will let you know if you are getting power to the bulb.

I have repowered my brake lamp switch to remove it's load from passing through the fuse/switch. I made up a fused wire to fit between the Battery side terminal of the starter solenoid and the brake switch. I just taped off the old one and abandoned it in place. An inline fuse holder mounts a modern 20 amp fuse. This allows the brake lamp/s to work with key off, but also sepeartes for a bit brighter light, especially at isdle with headlamps on.

My Dad had a 49 Wayfarer in light blue. It is the first car I have a memory of. It was the same body style as yours. When I was about 6 he traded it for a used 54 Meadow Brook. I learned how to drive on that. With the fluid drive, it was a lot easier to manipulate the standard transmission, almost cheating.
