I bought this at Spring Jefferson thinking I could use it on my car. It turned out to be a little too long and that trim profile on the end (that my original doesn't have) is different from my windshield trim. It is marked 51-52 Desoto,Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler but I can't be sure. It is NOS and I am pretty sure it's a Mopar piece. The mounting holes almost match up with my original.

Thanks for any input.

Yes.  I have one just like that on my 52 Dodge Coronet.  It's the center molding on the windshield.  Fits vertically with the molded end fitting over the bottom pieces running along the bottom of the windshield.  I can probably take a pic if you want to see it.  Mine of course is all pitted where yours in new.  Let me know if you want to see the pic.  Bob

is there a part number embossed on the inside of the molding?

Yes there is.1371390. I wanted to use it but it won't fit so I will sell it on e-bay. Any idea what it's worth? It is obviously NOS. Just a few light scratches from handling.

No need for a pic but thanks anyway. That would fit right in with what it is labeled to be.

If you list it just be sure to leave the Plymouth off, as it would differ from the bigger family members.

 1951 1952 CHRYSLER IMPERIAL WINDSHIELD DIVIDER TRIM 1371390 - CHR71

listed as a 51 52 Chrysler IMPERIAL w/shield divider

Would not assume that it fits ALL others

Might be Imperial only!

Thanks. Knowing Chrysler Corp. I would guess it would fit other years and models. Just a little too long for mine. I would swap it for a NOS piece that fits my '50 Coronet if anyone is interested. Otherwise it's going on e-bay.

Thanks for all the help!

I would say the opposite, I've encountered many body parts that are frustratingly close but different enough to be unusable. That said I have a 67 tailshaft and housing bolted to a 97 trans in my '39 Plymouth
