Thanks for the post...a friend up the road a few miles has an older Austin sedan.  I am thinking it is the American Austin.  Only in England would they make a big deal of 7 HP and include it in the model name...lol   Austin has been around a long time and has been very much a success story..I have three Austin's here but they a tad newer..

Hey! That ain't right.

I just noticed...if you look at the top of the windshield wiper you can see the front of that '41 Plymouth truck in the distance.
