Put oil filter in my truck since many years.

After many months without write in this forum I return puting pics of my truck oil filter from yesterday work.

I think these inlet and outlet are wrong in the block and relief valve.

It depends on the filter manufacturer. My filter has the pressure inlet at the at the bottom and the drain outlet up near the top. They are clearly marked that way and I have it plumbed the same as in that picture.

Ok Merle.My filter is Inlet on side top.It does not have the drain plug like Jeep and GMC.

Most canister style filters are marked for inlet & outlet. I changed to a canister style, my canister was not marked but by design I deduced that the inlet was in bottom & return was in side near top. Works fine.
