Robin (UK) Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) Hi Guys, Can anyone give me an insiders tip on how to stitch the straight lines into 'cord' fabric? The problem is that if the line is slightly out of true, the parallel lines in the fabric seem to exaggerate the error. How does anyone achieve straight lines?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Robin. Attached a picture of what I'm trying to copy... Edited March 28, 2014 by Robin (UK) Quote
falconvan Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 Actually, you can buy material with the pleats already in it. Lots of EBay vendors have it. 1 Quote
RodFru2u Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 Use tailor's chalk draw straight lines and feed the material slowly,oh yeah LOTS of practice. Good Luck Quote
